"Since I was a kid, I’ve always loved the idea of art and customization. I always wanted to make things visually feel like they’re exactly meant for me in a cool way, but it wasn't until I was 23 that I decided I wanted to pursue art professionally. I taught myself how to draw, paint, and create graphics in my own unique style by combining my inherent passion for design with my knowledge acquired from studying psychological and brain sciences at the University of California Santa Barbara.

Through constant deep thought of what art truly meant to me, I’ve realized that art and psychology are completely related to each other. I believe that any form of art is all about evoking the feelings tied to perceptions that we all have individualized emotional associations to. I think the best art will evoke the best feelings and when we have a painting on our wall, or wear a sweater with a certain type of design, or include anything visually pleasing towards our environment, it will improve our psychological state. There are actually studies that prove this idea. Furthermore, I believe that the sense of purpose and belonging both play a huge role in anyone's psychological state and art can help with that. Artwork gives people the chance to remind themselves of what they live for by displaying their art as an expression and creating an environment for themselves in which they feel like they belong. I intend to create art that positively impacts the psychology of anyone consuming it.

To go deeper, I have my own philosophy on what creates great style in anything and I apply that philosophy to my art. I believe that true style in anything comes from the ability to make a complex thing appear simple. I demonstrate the idea of simplicity through mastery by using simple shapes to represent significant stories in my artwork. While experts make what they do look effortless, there’s usually a significant story behind their expertise. My artwork represents this concept and is meant to serve as a conversation starter as its unique and aesthetic style catches eyes, generates curiosity, and opens up the door for you to tell your story.

So as I combine my philosophies behind both art and style, I create my own story of being the artist that creates to intentionally benefit the psychology of others. I create art for everyone because I believe everyone has a significant story, passion, and purpose that belongs in this world and deserves to be heard. I spend as much time as I can to capture those significant stories by using simple shapes to positively impact the psychology of people as I provide a sense of comfort and belonging within the complexity of each story."
